Special Funds

The Special Funds Accounting section of the Controller's Office performs accounting and financial reporting tasks for Grants and Contracts, revenue generating Trust Fund accounts, Capital Improvement Construction accounts, Overhead Receipts, and Trust Fund accounts which receive financial support from the ASU Foundation, Inc.

This office is located on the third floor of the B.B. Dougherty Administration Building and consists of the Director, Assistant Director, and the Accounting Technician. More specific responsibilities of this area include: Create new financial accounts. Budget Revisions, expenditure transfers for grant, contract, and trust fund accounts. Financial Reporting to Federal, State, local grant awarding agencies. Financial Reporting to State Agencies on Capital Improvement Construction. Cash management of Grant and Contract funds, Capital Improvement Construction Funds. Provide technical support to grant and special program directors regarding program financial management.
