FIRE DRILLS

• Fire drills are conducted in each campus building equipped with a fire alarm system.
• Drills are normally coordinated through department directors, deans or chairpersons and every effort will be made to minimize disruptions to normal operations.
• Occupants are required to evacuate during fire drills and should familiarize themselves with the emergency evacuation procedures found in the University Resource Manual (Fire Prevention and Emergency Action).
• Questions regarding fire drills should be directed to Beth Clark in the University Safety Office 262-4007 ext. 1

The following is the frequency schedule for fire drills per building type:

Monthly - Educational (ASU Child Development Center, Lucy Brock)

Quarterly - Assembly (Plemmons Student Union, McKinney Alumni Center, Legends, Owens Field House, Living Learning Center -Academic Wing, Student Recreation Center, Quinn Center, Farthing Auditorium, Turchin Arts Center, Valborg Theater, Belk Library Information Commons, Trivitte Hall, Welborn Hall. Broyhill Inn & Conference Center)

Bi-Annually - Residence Halls

Annually - Academic/Support Buildings
